Feeling from the Heart

I COULDN'T FIND MY HEART by Santosh Acharya

Chitwan,my destination where I found everything but not my soul

Neither in museum nor in resort, either in Jungle or in the park

Am I successful? I got refreshment but not my real goal

I walked and ran but couldn't listen her melody, only the dog's bark

Together with the sunshine, I rose with the golden hope

From dawn to dusk, I wandered everywhere, but I was still alone

For having everyone but not her in the local Thamel shop

Still, other could see sun in my face, but in reality, baby, I had no fun

Pizza, Muesli, and Pancakes were proposing me, still, I couldn't find her role

How could I lead the way baby, if the day becomes completely dark

Couples were flying in the disco songs, but I still had gloomy tone

So dear, I could find you only in the cigar and its smoky rope

My body was there, not my mind, everywhere was greenery but I could see only desert

I don't know what I got and what I lost, but I still realise,I really couldn't find my heart.

(Note: "Chitwan" is one of the most popular travelling destinations here in Nepal)

Dive 2 Feel

I AM STILL NOT PERFECT by Santosh Acharya

Like a learner, today, I've realised I'm still not perfect

For knowing everything and for knowing nothing

Image from the World mirror reflects my identity, am I a lion or an insect?

Many things to be learnt, I accept it as a learning being

Everyone sees the surface, but the depth by less

Like the rays of sunlight, one can be colorful, but not seen by all

It could be the best if I could be transparent, by my heart and by my face

I still wish to learn, what could make me rise and what could make me fall

If discipline is everywhere, should I move towards right or should I move towards left

If joys and sorrows are there, which song should I sing

if nothing is to be taken at last. what is life and what is it's base

Universally if one is alone, in ups and downs, whom shall I call

More you think, More it becomes tougher, is life really a miracle

If life is a natural exam, obviously let's accept success and failure.

Ponder 2 Ponder

TRUE LOVE, MY ESSENCE by Santosh Acharya

Hey earthly shining star, sorry, I can't love you at all

If you can't only shine for me, sorry, I can't hold you tight

I've energy only for victory, I can't confront with losing fight

Don't reek of grimy game of love, I can't endure my own fall

If you pulverise my innocent feelings, my day will be a terrible night

If my heart, detaches away, my identity gets, lost in rabble

So, show, sure secrets, otherwise, no entry in your hearty hall

Truth is Taj Mahal, try to know, how can I be a page of your fable

Single state of love is sufficient, sorry for your provinces

Lavish party I can't offer, nor can I afford costly place

Gaudy mansion I can't build, I've honesty, that's my base

No need of next experiment, I'm a champion, no next race

Believe yourself, believe me, true love is essence, don't guess

I've disillusioned the reality, this is the truth I can express

Realise 2 Realise

TO THE SEA VISITOR by Santosh Acharya

Are you excited for your departure

Of leaving lakes and glaciers, and flying for the sea

Searching heaven of luxury and pleasure

Among the technical human, lacking a natural key

And ever growing, like unlimited ends

That gets no level of eternal satisfaction

Eye 2 Eye

We love to listen, priests wish to sing
We're exchanging hearts not only the ring
Life isn't stationary, one has to swing
Wedding is ours, so we're enjoying.

Feel 2 Feel

NOISE POWER by Santosh Acharya

The World, without vision, when ruled by Noise, I can't respain peevish

But heroic victory in the creator's mind, God! What a hearty wish?

Shuttering rifles, the regular earthquakes are ruling with rapid rattle

General man! Thy painful voice of hunger and thirst, is like oil in sand

Who thinks when Noise threatens innocent hearts with bombing battle

In the World of Word democracy,Ordinary Being! Who cares thy gloomy band?

Equality will how awake, if tightened inside their quilt with thread

Their Noise much powerful than thy voice, evidences Nagasaki,Hiroshima

Hope is slumped with anxiety and loss, for months, thy stomach lacks bread

If implemented, wisdom sulkily, that will be thy ardent stamina

Their way, the hell is too bloody, in every step, look there is death fence

A stitch in time saves nine, so visionary minds think in time

Atomic Clone, their, can destroy the world, no use of thy physical defence

For Love, Society and Brotherhood, Let's flourish the peaceful hymn.

Respect 2 Respect

MOTHERLAND, THE HIGHEST by Santosh Acharya

Hey, irrational human!
Your mind's visions are rotten
Your fidelities are decayed
To the injured innocent motherland
Pulling your neck with rope
Very soon, you've to be donkey, Otherwise
No matter if you've forgotten her
But, hey respectless being!
This is my motherland
Play not a dirty game on her lap.

Your false vows have killed away her hope
Your freedom has kidnapped her identity
With your greed-wrapped errors
Firing regularly in her dignity

Hey, Ghost of her bright dream!
Hey, curse of my heart and mind!
Please, wait!
Don't play a dirty game on her lap.

Mother is high
Motherland is the highest
So, she possesses solemnity
But your vision bank is hungry for her sale
But your stone heart
fills joy of destroying my dreams
Hey, irrational leech
Rather suck me
Enjoy with my blood, how much you can
Pour hot boiling water on me
Block my respiratory world
taking me in the door of Hell
But don't see her with Ravan's eyes
Don't raise your sinful hand
Don't go near her
Hey, Please don't play a dirty game in her lap.

On the road of your destiny
Tears of your mother has overflooded
Gears of your own brothers' and sisters' life have failed
Country's breathe has kidnapped
So, Hey Yamaraj! Hey, Evil Heart!
It's enough! Don't recite your horrible hymn
Please do not play a dirty game on her lap.

( Note:Ravan's eyes means cruel eyes and Yamaraj means The Death in Hindu religion )

Friend 2 Friend

LOST AND ALL ALONE by Santosh Acharya

Friendship is the feeling of mutual regard and attachment among persons who
come in contact with one another in life.Like to like is the law that
governs friendship.Life is full of many ups and downs and we need friends at
all times. Thus, friends are an inseparable part of our lives.

My friendship with Aakash started when I was living in Panauti while i was
studying at Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute. At that time i used to live in a
quarter in front of Aakash's house.Being neighbours we became fast
friends.Although he was a few years older than me, we shared the same tastes
and ideas.

Though he had failed in the SLC exam he never gave up hope.He was determined
to pass it in the coming year.He was an excellent barber as well and he
passed his days by working in his own salon.

After my school hours we used to wander around the Gorakhnath Hill.We enjoyed gossiping on serious and sometimes funny
subjects. The view of the Himalayas and Panauti Valley from the summit of
Gorakhnath is astounding.

Every Saturday we used to go to Roshi River to wash our clothes and to take
a bath.Aakash was an excellent swimmer.Once I almost drowned in the deep
Khopasi Pond.It was Aakash who saved me.We were so close to each other that
we never hid anything from each other. As I am a little poetic I used to
recite some of my poems to him and he felt very happy.

Our friendship established a very good and close relationship between our
families also.We were such fast friends that we were ready to sacrifice
anything for each other if the need arose.Mutual understanding, toleration
and the willingness to forgive are the best qualities that I found in
him.His friendship rendered prosperity more brilliant and made adversity
more bearable. We both were great medicines for each other for all the ills
of life. His counsel, his sympathy and his assistance lightened my
anxieties.Although we faced many problems, obstacles and deceptions, we
solved them together, tactfully.

One day when I was returning to home from the school I saw a big crowd in
front of Aakash's house.I grew frightened.Someone was weeping bitterly.I walked quickly to the spot. There a sight greeted me beyond my worst nightmare.I saw
the dead body of my beloved friend Aakash.I was told that he had been run over by a bus. That scene pierced my heart.I felt as if someone had poured boiling hot water on me.My sight was blurred with tears and my ears were ringing.I felt paralysed and suffocated.I was shattered and heart broken.Every part of my body went numb.

No matter how hard i cried but my friend didn't come to wipe my tears.I asked God why He had taken my friend and what his fault was but the statue remained silent.

Now, though I have many friends I am still alone for I haven't found my Aakash.I will always remember him.He lives in my heart and the memories we made are forever fresh in my mind .I don't understand why he was taken away but I pray to god that his departed soul may rest in peace.

Love 2 Love

OPTIONLESS LOVE by Santosh Acharya

Who will feel my love in the days to come

If it is originated from the bottom of my heart

Though Yet, only my heart knows, not by all, not by some

Who thinks what about me, Am I a desert?

If I could search a little place in your mind

Either with my Poetry or with my Letter

You and the World to come would say, "This guy is blind."

Should I still love you or die my beloved, What'll be better?

If the World makes me lonely, I should born my feeling

You won't be affected dear, but I'll die

If the pain can't be endured, no meaning of healing

If sacrifice is to gain, I accept, I won't lie

If you say life is to live, what should be done?

If true love is discarded, what's the next option?

Eye 2 Eye

What a responsibility?

For my struggle I can't sing
For happiness I enjoy smoking.

Time 2 Realise

TRUE SOCIAL SERVICE by Santosh Acharya

Time and again the cloud blocks, but, anyhow the bright sun shines

No use of fragmented Vision, Unity, the magnet, everything it combines

Lazy dreamers who sleep for months, for them, days and nights are same

If the deaf has to listen the world's pain, what's the use of audible ear?

Dramatical theatre, this world for them who pretend and bark for fame

Mother! How can rocky hearts feel your appeal, don't believe in their crocodile tear

Revenge mixed blood, excrable wish, you seem totally dejected
How can you bloom the flowes of hopes, spreading terrors and false illusion?

If you know you're a burden to this world, dare to be rejected

Selfish minds, how can you create productive and substainable vision?

Negativity burns you completely man, Positivity, the needed attitude

If social work is for satisfaction, why your eyes are staring at cash?

For your service, this world, the universe, reward you with heartful gratitude

Name and Identity only remains, trust me, the rest will convert into an ash

Santosh and His Horse by Santosh Acharya
Santosh had a lovely horse whose fame spread far and wide so that everyone who saw it or heard of it wished to buy it. But Santosh refused to sell it as he thought his horse was his the most precious property. There upon a thief decided to take it away by cheating.
Disguising himself as a beggar and pretending illness, he waited by the roadside on the route where Santosh was touched by the sight of the supposed sickman. The sickman pretended in such a way that he had really become sick. Santosh dismounted and offered to help the sick man onto his horse and carry him to a place where treatment could be arranged. But the beggar didn't move and said faintly,” I have been without food for days, so I cannot rise; I have no strength at all."
Santosh lifted him and placed him upon the saddle. Then the sick man galloped away leaving Santosh surprised. At last Santosh called the thief to stop when he was at a safe distance and the thief stopped. "You have taken my horse but you don't tell anyone.” Santosh said. "Why not"? The thief asked. "Because one day another man may lie by the roadside really ill and your mischief is known, anyone will hesitate to stop and assist him" said Santosh.
The thief was touched by that. He rode back and gave the animal to its right owner promising not to repeat such work for the next time.
